Brad G. Fulton:
Brad is the founder and Principal of Adventes Corporation.
From the beginning in 2002 his passion has been sales. He has over
20 years experience in technology sales and marketing. Prior to
launching Adventes, Brad was the Regional Manager, Eastern
Ontario for Avaya Communications and Lucent Technologies in charge
of dealer networks. Prior to Avaya, Brad spent five years in senior
sales positions with Bell Nexxia focusing on government accounts.
Brad began his technology career spending ten years with Simware
Inc., a local start-up software company that eventually went public,
employing over 200 people.
Lori
O’Neil:
Lori is a Partner at Deloitte and Touche Inc. Lori has 15 years
experience of public accounting with technology-based companies.
Lori is the leader of the Ottawa Office Advanced Technology Industry
Practice and member of the Management Team of the Ottawa Office
of Deloitte & Touche. Lori’s expertise is providing accounting,
audit and business advisory services to privately held and publicly
traded advanced technology companies operating globally. In addition,
Lori has extensive experience with Canadian and United States securities
commission reporting requirements, United States. GAP issues and
IPOs.
Doug
Hewson:
Doug is a Managing Partner of Axis Capital Corporation. He participates
on the Board of Directors of a number of companies, including GridIron
Networks Inc, AssetMetrix Inc., and a not-for-profit subsidiary
of CARE Canada, Global Development Group. Before co-founding Axis,
Doug was a lawyer with Borden Ladner Gervais with a focus on technology
law and finance. He was also in-house counsel to a publicly traded
technology company. Doug is a frequent panel participant and lecturer
on topics related to venture investing.
Terry
S. Ansari:
Terry’s 23 years of experience in the technology industry
includes sales and management positions with some of the largest
information technology companies in the world, including Oracle,
Microsoft, SAP, and currently Accenture where he leads Accenture’s
Business Development efforts with the Federal Government of Canada.
Terry is active in the community, where he is a member of the Board
of Directors of the Royal Ottawa Healthcare Foundation and a member
of the United Way Leadership Giving Campaign. Terry belongs to numerous
business associations within the Information Technology Association
of Canada (ITAC), the Ottawa Centre for Research & Innovation
(OCRI), Government Opportunities Advisory Committee and the Government
Technology (GTEC) Distinction Awards Judging Committee.
John
McFetridge:
John is currently the Chief Technology Officer at COAST Software
and has been with the company since 1999. John works with the product
management team to ensure the requirements and architecture of COAST
technologies is successfully delivered to market. In 1982 John was
the founder and CEO of Simware Incorporated, which became one of
Canada’s largest software companies. Over the past 25 years
John has held senior management positions with Corel Corporation,
Caravelle Networks and Messagewise. John’s passion and specialty
is in software development working with startups, he has an uncanny
ability to identify the needs and trends within the technology industry.
